Museum holiday mart wrapping up

Posted

The holiday mart in the lobby of the Museum/Library building will be open four more days.

Stocking stuffers, decorations, garlands and other holiday items are available at reduced prices to clear out the stock.

After shopping the mart, come into the River of Time Museum and browse through the museum store for unique gifts – items not found anywhere else in Fountain Hills.

Because the museum is part of a non-profit organization, no sales taxes are charged on any purchases. If you are a member of the museum, you also will get a 10 percent discount on your purchases.

After shopping, grab a paddle and take a tour of the River of Time Museum and enjoy interacting with the new exhibits.

After several weeks of being closed for renovation, the museum is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Memberships are available which, in addition to giving members lower prices for upcoming events, also provides privileges at four other museums in the region.

Cave Creek Museum, Rim Country Museum and Zane Gray Cabin in Payson, the Rosson House Museum in Heritage Square Phoenix and the Superstition Museum in Apache Junction are partners with the local museum and offer free admission and discounts in their stores when patrons show their ROTM membership card.
