Musk’s naming practices leave me to wonder

Can you pronounce your child’s given name? I suspect you can. Can you give a rational explanation why that name was chosen? I suspect you can.

These two questions came to mind after I read an article in the New York Times reporting on Elon Musk’s presser held in the Oval Office on Feb. 12. According to the article, most notable in attendance was President Trump stoically sitting at an uncluttered Resolute Desk (perhaps waiting for his MacDonald’s order to arrive); Elon Musk dressed entirely in black including a black MAGA hat, which brought to mind those Imperial Starship officers that Darth Vader regularly mentally terrorized; the media and Musk’s four-year-old son (he has like 12 kids – he can afford them) who was appropriately attired for a visit to the White House. The youngster was well behaved, and after picking his nose, even went over and whispered something to the President (I dare not speculate!). A typical kid, his name: X AE A-12 (“X” for short, I think).

At this point I stopped reading about Musk and whatever he was selling to the media and returned to the two questions posed at the beginning of this letter. In a YouTube interview Musk is smirking and seemingly joking as he explained the rationale behind the name bit by bit, though never saying the complete name aloud. I got the feeling it was kind of fun and games for him.
