My way

And now the end is near, I’ll soon be gone and almost out of beer; I used my pen and phone and sometimes even used my drone, I ruled by executive order I never even went to the border.

We all ignored the working white, we never cared about their plight; Now as I leave on my last day, I’ll just say goodbye and do it my way.

Yes there were times I’m sure you knew, I had no clue on what to do; but through it all when there was doubt, I had Josh Earnest to bail me out.

He has no shame, he’ll just pass the blame and do it my way.

I lied because I can, I lied to all about Iran, I lied and then I ran, when I said to all you could keep your plan.

You should have known it was such a crock, when I said to all you can keep your Doc; I only made those quotes because I needed votes, and did it my way.

For what is this president, what has he got? Just a whole bunch of words and a leader he’s not; but I said the words they want to hear and I used to love to hear them cheer.

But the record will show how much I did not know and I did it my way.

On what to do, I never had a clue, but I did it my way.

With deep apologies to Paul Anka, Ole Blues Eyes and Elvis.
