Cole McAuliff, Max Giger and Shaun Logan recently hit the road to Washington, D.C., to take part in the National History Day finals for their group documentary themed after Turning Points in History: People, Ideas and Events. The local boys focused on Jackie Robinson for their presentation and, for their big day, they made sure to don vests like their Social Studies teacher, Matt Keating. While they didn’t win the finals, the boys had a great experience in the Nation’s Capital. They even got to spend some quality time in the D.C. airport when a tornado warning kept them grounded for six hours.
