The new property tax was rejected in May by overwhelming majority, with 66 percent of the vote. Clearly the current council members who supported the tax are out of touch with the overwhelming majority of Fountain Hills residents. We need to get new members elected to restore the balance of votes in the council, get the budget under control and ensure fair, open public discussion.

Those new candidates running for town council are Marcus Bulow von Dennewitz, Gerry Friedel and David Spelich. They bring many years of experience, including government, general finance and law enforcement. All three are new to the Fountain Hills political arena and are excited to represent us with fresh ideas, no more wasteful spending and no more tax incentives that aren’t justified, documented and publicly vetted.
