New York Kosher Deli Pop-up planned in Fountain Hills

Chabad welcomes Deli pop-up for sixth year

For the past six years, the Chabad of Fountain Hills has continued its tradition of hosting a New York Kosher Deli Pop-up, its take on a classic East Coast delicatessen.

The event returns from 12 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, offering guests a menu of New York-imported meats including pastrami, corned beef and turkey on rye. Each sandwich is piled high with a quarter pound of authentic kosher deli meat.

The event is organized by Tzipi Lipskier, co-director at Chabad of Fountain Hills. Born in Brazil and raised in Morristown, New Jersey, she met her husband, Rabbi Mendy Lipskier, while living in New York before the couple eventually moved to Arizona.
