Construction of Park Place on the Avenue has changed the backdrop for the vendors but the project will not interfere with shoppers, said Chamber events manager Sharon Morgan.

Park Place developer Bart Shea went “above and beyond” by allocating space for artists’ and vendors’ parking, said Morgan.

The public can park in Plat 208 between the Avenue and Parkview and streets round the venue.

Visitors should expect pretty much the same attractions as last year, said Morgan. No headline entertainment act has been booked. Morgan said she received no public complaints about the absence of entertainment at the last festival.

The beer tent operated by the Veterans of Foreign Wars along Fountain Park will provide entertainment. On Friday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Border Line, will play classic rock, country and blues. A classic rock band, Blacksmith, will play from noon to 5 p.m., Saturday. Border Line will return from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, said Dan Margolis.

The festival is the major revenue source for the Chamber of Commerce.
