Well, the spirit of this politically correct age raises its head in all the uproar over Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ magazine.
Strange that you ask someone what they believe then get mad because they give you an answer. Included in that answer was an acknowledgement of love for people of different values and even confession of a sinful life saved by Jesus.
It’s not enough for those who push their “gay agenda” for just tolerance, but everyone is required to accept this perverse lifestyle. And even acceptance is not enough, but now we are required to celebrate what the Bible calls an abomination.

Phil spoke the truth in a straight-forward way...it is a shame that even in our town we have churches that won’t speak the Word of Truth with love that Christ came to save sinners...all sinners.
It seems easier for some to ignore the clear teaching of Scripture and become enablers of lifestyles that will destroy these precious souls for eternity.
The message of the Bible is love, the love of God who sent His Son to save us from our sin. The message is not one where God winks at sin and says it’s okay. Genuine love for others demands truth be shared so they can be spared of as much pain of sin in this life and in eternity.
Phil spoke the truth not out of hate, but love and conviction that the Scripture is true. We all who claim Christ and love others must do the same out of concern that no one perish in their sin.
