OPINION – I attended the No Kings protest rally in our town on Oct. 18. What a great turnout! We estimated close to 600 people attended.
We stood on both sides of Saguaro Boulevard and our reception was mostly positive, with cars honking their horns and showing “thumbs up.” Throughout the country, over 7 million people showed up in small, medium and large towns and cities to demonstrate their displeasure with President Trump and his administration.
We will not stay silent as they trample on rights due to all citizens in this country. We must speak out as long as they continue to destroy America and our democracy, which we all cherish.
