Vote no on Prop 127, the so-called Clean Energy Act. Its words are purposely chosen to confuse. Do not be confused. A statement by advocates for Prop 127 says, “More solar, more savings.” That is an outright lie.
If solar and wind electricity generation were cost effective methods today, in comparison to conventional methods of electricity generation, there would be no need to amend the Arizona Constitution by Prop 127.
Solar and wind are renewable resources at extra cost to you.

Also, if solar and wind electricity generation were substantially less costly than conventional methods of today – which they are not – again, there would be no need to amend.
Simply stated, there is too much room for technological advancements, specifically in the storage of solar- and wind-generated electricity – solar and wind batteries, if you will – to at this time amend.
With significant advances in storage capability, every residential electricity user could generate and store solar electricity for their own use and thereby cut the umbilical cord that electric utilities have as a direct connection to users’ wallets. Where do you want your money; in electric utilities’ wallets or your own?
Mistakenly vote yes on Pro 127 and you will insure that development of storage batteries for solar and wind will be throttled, if not completely stopped. Voters, do yourselves a favor and vote no on Prop 127.
