A lagoon? Really?

Spend $40,000 on consultations when lots of our streets are crumbling, then $200,000 on operating costs?

This place is like a ghost town in the summer. You can get really sick from public pools in extreme heat. It would be like the Splash Park, where lots of people from out-of-town come with coolers and don’t spend a penny in town.

No thanks! Most homes and condos have pools already.
