Typically Americans have no concept of life beyond the borders of their communities. Everyone in Fountain Hills has an opinion of the proposed property tax, which might make a difference of a few hundred bucks a year in household bottom lines. But nobody blinks an eye when our national misgovernment bombs resource-rich, militarily-weak countries into oblivion in the name of corporate profit.

A few bucks to fix roads making you lose sleep at night? You might try worrying instead about the annual trillion-plus dollars which your non-representatives in D.C. are giving away to the U.S. Military, various intelligence agencies and their owner/handlers on Wall Street. These jackals are robbing you, committing war crimes worldwide and putting targets on the backs of your children in the name of bigger profits for your already obscenely wealthy owners at the top of the food chain.

Too bad there’s not an easy cure for political myopia. The Republican and Democratic parties do not work for the people. It is an illusion and a scam. There are no choices at the ballot box. The tax or not tax question is not important.
