The presentation, by Capt. Frank M. Hoak II, USN ret., will address entry into North Korea, behavior and censorship while in country, indoctrination of children (and later adults) into the military culture and hatred of America.
The new Military museum with the USS Pueblo (1968) and the North Korea military threat to the world will also be explored. Questions are welcome.

North Korea talk at Community Center Nov. 3

The Fountain Hills Activity Center will present “10 Days in North Korea 2015” on Thursday, Nov. 3, at the Community Center from 2 to 3 p.m.
The presentation, by Capt. Frank M. Hoak II, USN ret., will address entry into North Korea, behavior and censorship while in country, indoctrination of children (and later adults) into the military culture and hatred of America.
The new Military museum with the USS Pueblo (1968) and the North Korea military threat to the world will also be explored. Questions are welcome.
Hoak was in the US Navy from 1955-1984. He was an Air Intelligence Officer Carrier Group 21 aboard USS Lexington (CV-16) and USS Hancock (CV-19). Frank was a returning Navy Vietnam POW Investigator/Interrogator at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, VA (debriefed and did background investigations and intelligence gathering operations).
He was Executive Officer of Naval Investigative Service Office Unit 0893, NAS Willow Grove, Pa. Frank was Commanding Officer (Executive Officer and Commanding Officer 1978-1982) of Fleet Intelligence Rapid Support Team Europe & Atlantic 0593, NAS Willow Grove, Pa.
He participated in background investigations of domestic and international personnel. He retired as Captain (0-6) with 29 years of service, 1984.
The program is free for Activity Center Members for 2016. It is $5 for non-members. Preregistration is required and used Course #2070 when registering.
