The Neighborhood Property Owners’ Association is sponsoring its sixth annual holiday home lighting contest and is also participating in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program, which delivers holiday gifts of new toys and clothing to Fountain Hills children in need.
“The lighting contest is open to all NPOA member property owners,” said executive director Kim Robertson. “Three winners will be chosen, and each will receive a beautiful holiday gift basket.
“We are happy that this contest has become an annual Fountain Hills tradition and we encourage NPOA members to create some spectacular lighting displays.”

Judging will take place on Dec. 19 and 20 with winners announced Dec. 21 on the NPOA webpage at npoafh.org.
Residents can confirm whether they are NPOA members and eligible to participate in the contest by visiting the webpage or by phoning the office at 480-837-5317.
The NPOA is also proud to participate in this year’s Angel Tree program.
“When you pick up an Angel Tree wish card, you and the Salvation Army help brighten Christmas for a child in need,” said Robertson.
Donations are tax deductible and cards may be picked up in the NPOA office, which is located at 16810 E. Ave. of the Fountains, Suite 119 (Executive Suites building). Office hours are 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The all-volunteer NPOA, serving some 4,400 Fountain Hills lot owners, works to maintain high architectural standards in the community. For further information, or to learn about volunteering, contact the office at 480-837-5317.
