Off-track betting application on council agenda

When the Town Council meets on Tuesday, April 16, it will be considering an application by the Parkview Tap House Bar and Grill to establish an off-track betting site at the restaurant.

The council will also consider an amendment to a cooperative purchase agreement with M.R. Tanner Development and Construction. This agreement includes asphalt replacement and other miscellaneous projects not to exceed $3.5 million.

The town is also proposing for council consideration an amendment to the cooperative purchase agreement with Utility construction Inc. in the amount of $100,000 for additional lighting upgrades, maintenance and new construction as needed town wide.

Off-track betting application on council agenda

When the Town Council meets on Tuesday, April 16, it will be considering an application by the Parkview Tap House Bar and Grill to establish an off-track betting site at the restaurant.

The council will also consider an amendment to a cooperative purchase agreement with M.R. Tanner Development and Construction. This agreement includes asphalt replacement and other miscellaneous projects not to exceed $3.5 million.

The Sonoran Conservancy of Fountain Hills will make a presentation to the council for a proposed new trail in the Fountain Hills Preserve.

The new proposal would extend the existing Overlook Trail farther south into an area that developer Toll Brothers deeded to the town for the preserve.

The agenda also includes a monthly report by MCSO Capt. Larry Kratzer and proclamations by Mayor Ginny Dickey for Purple Heart Tuesday in Fountain Hills and Fountain Hills Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2.

The Town Council will meet on Tuesday, April 16, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in council chambers at Town Hall. The session is open to the public.
