Officials speak about fireworks safety in Fountain Hills

July Fourth holiday coming

The July Fourth holiday is just a week away and public safety officials want residents to be aware of some common safety concerns and the laws that apply to consumer use of fireworks.

“Remember, fireworks can be dangerous, causing serious burn and eye injuries,” Winters said. “Follow these safety tips from the Consumer Product Safety Commission when using consumer fireworks.”
