The 10th annual Oktoberfest at The Fountain promises to be a fun-filled event for the whole family.
Festivities are Friday and Saturday, Sept. 29 and 30. Mayor Linda Kavanagh will tap the keg in opening ceremonies Friday, Sept. 29, at 6 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m., and activities continue until 10 p.m. both days.
Admission is $5 and is free for children under 12 and for those dressed in dirndls or lederhosen.

The 10th annual Oktoberfest at The Fountain promises to be a fun-filled event for the whole family.

The event will feature traditional German food including brats, pretzels, apple strudel, beer and more. There will be competitions with prizes, as well as an entertainment area with inflatables. A variety of vendors with food and merchandise will be hand both evenings.
