If possible, the American public should understand that believing doggerel; a phony dossier paid for by the Clinton campaign, bad-mouthing a president, name-calling, taking petty potshots at President Trump, is one thing.

But when push comes to shove, after all is said, who will be there to stand between us and fiasco; a world disintegrating?

Fiasco can take many directions and forms and disunity is the most insidious and dangerous; its ignition mechanism.

There is a time for “one mouth” to open. There is also a time for one mouth to close. “There is a time to every purpose under heaven.”

One mouth speaking rationally says more than hundreds babbling, gossiping and lying.

There was an ancient king of history suspecting his queen of infidelity. The court grapevine was rife with all kinds of gossip. The king decided to see for himself firsthand and indeed he observed her in the act. Did he beat her? Did he publicly chastise her? Did he harm her in any way? No to each; he knew to be quiet. He knew, but did not harm her in any way.

For the sake of his state, his subjects, his children, he persevered and endured his personal pain for a time. For there always is a respite.
