According to Fire Chief Dave Ott, the architect for the project has submitted an initial round of drawings and the town is asking the public for input regarding exterior colors and finishes.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for an update on the progress of the project.

Open house for Fire Station #2 planning

The Town of Fountain Hills will hold an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 29, so Fire Department officials may present design options for Fire Station #2.
According to Fire Chief Dave Ott, the architect for the project has submitted an initial round of drawings and the town is asking the public for input regarding exterior colors and finishes.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for an update on the progress of the project.
The meeting will be in council chambers at Town Hall and begin at 5:30 p.m. The architect will be on hand to answer questions and comment on the design options.
The Fire Station #2 is a relocation of the facility to a site on Fountain Hills Boulevard just north of Shea Boulevard.
The current station on Saguaro south of Shea will be eliminated.
