This Saturday, the Fountain Hills Republican Club’s meeting includes a presentation and discussion of opioids – What is the situation and what can we do about it? – by renowned expert, Dr. Matthew Keene, the Executive Director of the Suboxome Certified Addiction Network.

Everyone is welcome to attend and learn about this serious epidemic that harmfully touches so many American families. The meeting in the Community Center starts at 9 a.m., with a meet and greet/social period starting at 8:30 p.m.

After attending Saturday’s Republican Club meeting, you are invited to stay downtown and attend either or both of the Irish Fountain Festival or the Fountain O’Green Artisan Market. Stay for the greening of the fountain at noon and, if old enough, purchase a green beer from the Veterans Service Organizations at the beer tent in the park.
