The Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation’s 32nd annual Orme Dam Victory Day Celebration will pay tribute to late tribal leader Dr. Clinton M. Pattea this weekend, Nov. 15-17.
Pattea passed away this past summer after more than half a century of leadership to the Yavapai Nation. The celebration will remember his “legacy of integrity and leadership.”
The featured events at the annual celebration continue to be the Pow Wow and All-Indian Rodeo, both activities to take place at the rodeo grounds area east of the Verde River along the Beeline Highway.
