The vote against the property tax has showed how out of touch the Town Council is with residents. Now there will be more spent on another stab at the money bag.
I was surprised the amount requested was $600,000 more than really needed. Well, I guess more money to find something to spend on.
There should have been a bond request with a set payoff. No one wants to just give their money with a tax that will likely never go away! We need a council that listens to us.

It also heeds the point there should be more ways to save on the costs that are going up the most. Let’s have some competition. I am afraid until we get the council in line with the residents, we will be spending a lot of money on tax elections.
