It’s a sad state of affairs when the people objecting to the primary property tax feel a need to seek the help of outsiders, namely The Americans for Prosperity organization. This group has decided to become involved in the fight opposing the property tax after receiving a request from local resident, Dr. Rutkowski.
The Fountain Hills tax issue only involves local residents and will be decided by these residents. The need for outsiders trying to sway the vote runs counter to the small town atmosphere we all enjoy in Fountain Hills.
We do not need signs, ads, phone calls from the AFP people, outside of Fountain Hills, trying to sway our vote. These individuals will not be impacted in any way by the outcome of the election. Who wants more telemarketing calls from outsiders?
