The Shea Boulevard widening project is entering its final stages. Following the placement of the second and final layer of pavement to the added third eastbound lane, the Town of Fountain Hills announced crews will close the road for markings and final work.
Eastbound lanes on Shea Boulevard between Palisades and Fountain Hills boulevards will be temporarily closed overnight, 9 p.m.-5 a.m. on Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-10.
Drivers will be detoured to Palomino Boulevard, north of Shea Boulevard during the closures, the release states.
