We have a seventeen-year-old son, Lucas, who has attended the Fountain Hills public schools for his entire education period and is now in his thirteenth year. We are very pleased with the education he has been receiving…from his wonderful teachers, coaches, principals, staff, and fellow volunteer parents.
It’s personally sad that Lucas will be leaving our educational system as he graduates this spring but that’s the “circle of life” and we greatly look forward to his next steps.
As we look at this beautiful town…where it is today and where it is planning on going…we believe it is imperative to vote “ yes” on Nov. 4 to the School Capital Tax Override initiative which has been approved by our Fountain Hills voters since 1999. Our schools are already excelling academically. But now there is a new goal...we want our schools to someday be the benchmark for education in Arizona. And every small step helps.

The Fountain Hills public schools have come a long way over the past few years. We feel the momentum and want to do everything possible to sustain that momentum.
We strongly urge all voters…those with children or those without children....those who work or those who are retired...to please get familiar with this initiative and find a place in your heart for our future generation of children. And one red-headed boy who is pretty special to us.
We're voting “yes” on Nov. 4. We hope you will too.
