Ozone pollution advisory extended to Thursday

Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has extended its ozone pollution advisory with a Health Watch for Thursday, April 13

A High Pollution Advisory continues through 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 12 with the Health Watch issued for tomorrow. Ozone pollution levels are expected to approach government standards for air quality on Thursday.

The ozone pollution levels are considered unhealthful for sensitive groups. Active children and adults as well as those with respiratory ailments such as asthma are advised to avoid prolonged exertion in the outdoors during the advisory.
