The camp also hosts an annual $5 Secret Santa gift exchange.
Each day of camp includes a fun activity: Tuesday is PJ Day, Wednesday is Outdoor Bubble Bash, Thursday is Secret Santa/Dress Rehearsal and Friday is the holiday performance.
“This camp is one of my favorites because it creates so many opportunities for kids to perform,” PYT owner and artistic director Paige Beckman said. “Most kids can have their own solo or duet if they are ready for one. Other kids can perform in our group song and dance numbers. We also include kids who like to emcee the event for us and maybe tell a joke or two.”
Kids who are interested in learning technical theater including lighting and sound design are invited to enroll where they will be trained on technical skills and can help run the show.
