Panel to consider dog park solutions

After listening to dog owners and unhappy neighbors of the dog park at Desert Vista Park last week the Community Services Advisory Commission is choosing to get the two sides together to work on issues related to noise complaints about the off leash facility.

On Monday the CSAC voted to put together a panel consisting of dog owners, residents of the Morningside subdivision and commission members to consider options for resolving any problems. The group is also expected to get someone on board with knowledge of dog behavior.

The committee will report back to the CSAC, which in turn will prepare a recommendation for Town Council discussion and consideration. There is no timetable for the discussion.
