Pardon

Several weeks ago I suggested to Joe Arpaio that he ask President Trump for a pardon. He replied, “No, Jerry, I couldn’t do that.” Well, he didn’t need to. President Trump issued the pardon on his own initiative, to the dismay of the liberals who walk among us.

I was delighted. Joe served us well as sheriff. We elected him six times for a total of 24 years, twice as long as any other Maricopa County sheriff. He has earned his retirement.
