Paving work on Beeline next week

Pavement improvement work will require lane restrictions along State Route 87, the Beeline Highway, south of Sunflower starting Monday, August 4, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Drivers with plans to use SR 87 between the Phoenix area and Payson are urged to allow extra travel time and to be prepared for slow traffic at times.

Northbound SR 87 will be narrowed to one lane in areas between the Four Peaks turnoff, about 15 miles north of Fountain Hills, and Sunflower from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, August 4-7, to allow crews to resurface sections of old pavement between mileposts 206-218.
