Payback

Sen. John Kavanagh wants to take away our constitutional rights by introducing SCR1001, which further restricts Arizona citizens from getting initiatives on the ballot.

It’s payback time from the republican legislature and governor for the audacity a group of citizens showed by filing the Save Our Schools initiative. They don’t like the fact that someone is actually challenging their rule by leveraging the Arizona constitution, so let’s make it more difficult, almost impossible, for a group of citizens to collect signatures and get an initiative on the ballot.

So much for those constitutional Tea Party principles, Senator.
