Peaks Rotary inducts two more

Rotary District Governor Jay Jones, along with John Pennypacker, district governor elect, and Peg Glink, assistant district governor, visited the Four Peaks Rotary Club…a yearly trek by this group across the state to visit each of the 41 clubs in the district.

Their visit starts with a meeting the night before with the club’s board where they learn what the club is doing to help those who can’t help themselves and provides input on what the district is doing to help the club achieve its goals and objectives.

The governor’s visit concludes the next day with his presence at the club’s weekly meeting. He shares what he has learned from the previous night’s meeting about the club activities, some district happenings and what Rotary International is doing to help those in need throughout the world.

Rotary District Governor Jay Jones, along with John Pennypacker, district governor elect, and Peg Glink, assistant district governor, visited the Four Peaks Rotary Club…a yearly trek by this group across the state to visit each of the 41 clubs in the district.

Their visit starts with a meeting the night before with the club’s board where they learn what the club is doing to help those who can’t help themselves and provides input on what the district is doing to help the club achieve its goals and objectives.

The governor’s visit concludes the next day with his presence at the club’s weekly meeting. He shares what he has learned from the previous night’s meeting about the club activities, some district happenings and what Rotary International is doing to help those in need throughout the world.

He continues to challenge club efforts to help others; build membership with those who can continue to help make Rotary the largest service club in the world; to help with service projects on a local, district and international basis, and provide contributions to help rid the world of polio.

In addition, one of his tasks is to induct any new members into the club.

Sandy Davis and Judi Kaleh were inducted into the Four Peaks Rotary Club during his visit.

Davis brings to the club and the community a wealth of knowledge, experience and involvement in the field of education.

She is presently manager of Somewhere II Retreat Center and a trustee for the Gregory Davis Memorial Foundation Funding, Scholarship Management and Community Improvement Projects.

In addition, she is involved AriZoni Awards Association, Youth Theatre adjudicator, Fountain Hills High School, Parent Volunteer Group, School Store Coordinator, Fountain Hills Theater, Fountain Hills Mentoring Council Board Member, Training Coordinator, and Golden Eagle Foundation Board Member -- coordinator of Fountain Hills High School scholarships.

Kaleh brings to the table a vast portfolio of sales and marketing experiences that include being a solutions-based sales rep with over 12 years experience.

She has been multiple sales-award winner focusing on developing relationships along with potential opportunities. She has significant overall experience with marketing strategy development and execution and is known for developing a depth of product and competitor knowledge to leverage sales.

She is presently a field sales representative for Genworth Financial emphasizing in long-term care.

Four Peaks Rotary Club is a volunteer service organization whose mantra is “Service Above Self.”

The group meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month at 7 a.m. in the Grill at Eagle Mountain.
