Four Peaks Women’s Club, the hands-on women’s service club in Fountain Hills, is ready to start another service year following its long-held mantra of “you can never give too much.”
To the women in the club, this means “giving” of one’s time and talents to make this a better community. It is a way to give back for all of the things they love about living here.
The first meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the home of club President Pat Isaacson, 15419 E. Sunburst Drive, beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Contact Pat at 480-836-9123 if directions to her home are needed. The September meeting has always started with a traditional potluck, but this year there will be a twist to that menu. Members are asked to bring only appetizers or desserts.
It is important for members to contact Catherine Stob by email or call 480-635-1706 to let her know what food will be brought.
Four Peaks Women’s Club was formed in 1998 as members of the former La Buena Vida club sought to create a hands-on volunteer group of women.
The original members wanted to make a direct and meaningful contribution to Fountain Hills. Their focus, which remains the same, centers on helping women and children.
Barb Hansen, the club’s first president, states, “I am so proud of this club and the women it draws to service. I encourage new members to our ranks as these women are critical to our success.
“They bring new ideas and energy to keep the volunteer spirit flowing.”
Women interested in information about the club may contact Hansen at 480-837-5193.
The club prides itself on its flexibility in response to charitable needs. Over the years, they have been involved in close to 100 projects. Some of their projects include working on behalf of the food bank, community theater, Cultural and Civic Association, Home Delivered Meals, Adopt-A-Street, town Christmas celebration, Children’s Cancer Network, River of Time Museum, women abuse shelters, Newborns in Need, Christmas Angel program with the Boys and Girls Club, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Back to School Clothing Drive and many more.
If there is a need, the club finds volunteers to be a part of the solution.
