Pevear: The kindness of the Fountain Hills Fire Department

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and praise our wonderful Fountain Hills Fire Department.

Our father recently passed away and, prior to his death, the men and women of the Fountain Hills Fire Department were extremely helpful and kind. Due to his age and medical condition, he was weak and unable to get up and move about as needed at times. He was able to stay at home in his final days because of the help of the Fountain Hills Fire Department.

Whenever they came to the house, they were very respectful, kind and caring. They made our father feel better about needing the help and accepting it. Being a very strong, independent man who took great care of his family, it was extremely hard for him. We truly appreciate how kindly our father was treated.
