The commission postponed the business of considering a special use permit for a teen nightclub in a plaza at 17225 E. Shea Boulevard.
The applicant requested the continuance to finalize additional details of the project.
Town Zoning Administrator Bob Rodgers said there is a question regarding adequate parking for such a use.
The hearing has been rescheduled for the commission on Oct. 24.
Prior to its regular session the commission met in a joint session with Town Council members.
Development Services Director Paul Mood updated the commissioners on the town’s pavement management program for street maintenance.
Town Manager Ken Buchanan outlined ongoing efforts to implement the Economic Development Plan adopted by the council in March of this year.
