Last week someone sent a letter deriding political hopefuls and their many, many calls to private homes. I totally agree with this interference by political hopefuls.
Do they want calls constantly at their homes during dinner, lunch, family time, sleep time or any time when one wants the peace and quiet of their own home? What is the point? I read info sent by candidates (if it says anything) and look up websites – on my time – not whenever someone chooses to disturb my home life.

Last week I received a call from a child (who I could not even understand) touting his mother and all I heard was the name Kelly. That same week I was driving home on El Pueblo and two very small boys were sitting on the curb with signs and then ran out into the street to show me the signs. I had to come to a complete stop not to hit them.
Do these politicians want to be elected so badly that they put their children in danger? I agree with the person who wrote the letter not to vote for anyone who calls. However, then we would not be able to vote for anyone at all.
I ran for election four times in Michigan and won each time. Never made a phone call throughout the entire campaign.
