The Fountain Hills Photography Club held its monthly meeting Wednesday, Feb. 6.

Professional photographer Ron Niebrugge was guest speaker. From the age of 12, Niebrugge lived in interior Alaska in the area now known as Wrangell – St. Elias National Park. Living in this vast wilderness, Niebrugge developed two passions: his love of the outdoors and his desire to capture the beauty of the natural world in photographs. His gift for taking the ordinary and using beautiful natural light to create the extraordinary is evident in his images.

Currently, Niebrugge leads many photo tours, both in his home state of Alaska and throughout the U.S. and Antarctica.
