Photo Club meets March 11

The Fountain Hills Photography Club will meet next Wednesday, March 11. The club holds its monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of the month at the Fountain Hills Community Center, running from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Everyone, including winter visitors, are welcome, whether novice, professional or merely curious, and photography skill level is immaterial.

The March guest speaker is Larry Arbanas, who will speak on two subjects – wildlife photography and drone photography. He will draw on his extensive professional video experience, his more recent use of drones and his latent interest in still photography.

The March guest speaker is Larry Arbanas, who will speak on two subjects – wildlife photography and drone photography. He will draw on his extensive professional video experience, his more recent use of drones and his latent interest in still photography.

Arbanas will start off this month’s meeting by giving a 10-minute flying drone demo in the circle outside the Community Center at 6.30 p.m. promptly – come early so that you do not miss it.

Photography Club field trips and meet-ups are planned monthly, both local and state-wide. Meetings also provide an opportunity to share photos, attend lessons, and get tips on how to not only shoot photos, but also to process images on Lightroom, Elements or Photoshop.

There is no fee for attending the first meeting, and those interested in joining may do so at an annual fee of $30 per individual or $40 per couple.

All are invited to come and see what has been called “the best little photography club in Arizona”

For further information, visit the club’s website at fhphotoclub.org.
