Planning and Zoning postpones action on SUP application

Questions, concerns go unanswered

The Fountain Hills Planning and Zoning Commission voted to postpone any action on an application for a special use permit (SUP) to allow a residential development on commercially zoned property on the north side of Fountain Hills.

The proposal includes four two-story, multi-family buildings, each with three units. Construction would be on four adjoining parcels just off El Pueblo Boulevard east of Fountain Hills Boulevard. The applicant also stated the target group for the units would be seniors.

Commission members had numerous questions related to the request, however, the applicant was not present at the meeting to respond.
