On May 21, at 5 p.m., the Plat 208 board is meeting to restrict the use of the Plat 208 parking lot to parking of trailers, vehicles, etc.
I agree, abandoned vehicles should be cited and removed. The restriction is too broad and for many of us running businesses out of Plat 208, it is imperative for us to be able to park our trailer and vehicles.
Plat 208 is zoned C-2 and restricting the businesses from parking our vehicles will be putting a large financial burden on each one of them. We need easy access to our vehicles and work units to run our businesses effectively.

I am asking that all concerned landlords, property owners, the mayor and town council to help stop this restriction or at least modify it. Please contact the board of directors’ Scott Brendemuhl sbrendemuhl@gvpm.com or at 602-294-0999 and tell him this is a horrible idea for our business community and the heart of our downtown.
