Plencner: Getting ready for the upcoming elections
Time for the old guard to step aside and elect new leaders. The Arizona Republican Party just elected a new Chair, Gina Swoboda, who has the ability to put the Republican “Humpty Dumpty” Party back together again. I wish her well as she leads us back to fielding the finest.
The August primary is the time to vote your beliefs and values. The General Election is where you must vote for the country. The polices of the past three years have almost destroyed America, we cannot afford to keep nor elect those who are unable to perform at the highest and best levels.
Here is where I am: Elect pro-parent, back-to-basics majority to the school board, elect a new mayor who does not have his feet mired in the past, elect to the Town Council Watts, Corrigan and Earle, support the winner of the Republican Primaries. Take a look at those in leadership roles in Fountain Hills clubs and organizations and ask yourself, are they meeting your needs? There is no place in today's world for anyone to be on the fence or not fully engaged.
