Plencner: It’s time to replace Dickey

Posted

Reject the constant drum beat from the Left that Fountain Hills has “non-partisan” local elections. That is an insult to anyone who pays five minutes of attention to how this town is run.

Mayor Ginny Dickey is a longstanding member of the Liberal Ladies, the Democratic establishment and embraces far-left ideas promoted by her Democratic party. Here's the latest, an environmental project that's costing the town thousands of dollars for park benches made out of recycled junk.

Democrats are in office for one thing, to promote their far-left agenda, maintain power and spend money. The vast majority of Fountain Hills citizens are much more conservative than Ginny, so it's time to retire the harmless looking, softspoken Democrat and elect a mayor who100% represents the positions of our citizens and supports common sense policies for our town.

Ginny runs a rudderless ship, her council meetings are regularly packed with radicals who go ballistic as she sits behind her gavel allowing verbal altercations. This is who Ginny hangs with, who her people are, and don't forget where she was during COVID as a Black Lives Matter group demonstrated in town.

Enough! I'm voting for Gerry Freidel for mayor, Matt Corrigan and Rick Watts for council. Congratulations to Gayle Earle, who won a seat outright in the primary.
