The Technology Learning Center offers workshops throughout the year covering a variety of tech subjections.

The popular “Time-4-U” sessions are held each Wednesday from 9-11 a.m.

During this time, TLC volunteers are available to answer questions about smartphones, tablets, laptops or any other technical question one may have.

Students may also register for upcoming workshops and sign-up or renew annual membership at this time. There is no charge for this two-hour open lab session. There will be no “Time-4-U” Wednesday, Nov. 11. The Community Center will be closed for Veterans Day.

All workshops are two hours and the fee is $20 ($10 for TLC+ members). The TLC+ membership is $40 per year and offers reduced workshop fees throughout the year.

Upcoming workshops are:

*Voice Commands with Cortana, Google Now and Siri – Monday, Nov. 30, 2-4 p.m.

*Gmail for Android and iOS Devices – Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2-4 p.m.

*MSN Windows 10 Overview – Friday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m.-noon.

Students must bring a fully charged smartphone, iPhone, tablet, or iPad, along with a user name and password, to each workshop.

Pre-registration, at least 7 days in advance, is required for all workshops and can be made by:

• Visiting the website at www.tlcfh.org and complete the registration form.

• Sending an e-mail to mail@tlcfh.org.

• Calling the computer lab at 816-9645; leave your name, phone number and workshop you would like to attend. A volunteer will return your call.
