What a surprise (not) to see Tony Pierce rant about Target’s new bathroom policy. Apparently we should be concerned with transgendered individuals preying on our wives, daughters and sisters.
Have you heard of a case yet of a transgendered predator? No. Have you heard of clergymen preying on kids? A billion times, right?
Funny, then, that Mr. Pierce is not recommending that Baptist priests be forbidden from spending time around kids given the many and very real cases of abuse reported and prosecuted among his colleagues.

Seek the truth for yourself and read about youth minister, John Langworthy, of the Baptist Church of Prestonwood, Texas; or Bob Gray of the Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Fla. Just two examples of deviant predators that spent years and years taking advantage of young girls and boys while their parents thought them safe. And that’s where the real outrage should kick in.
So rather than waste time on a pointless crusade, I suggest Mr. Pierce starts denouncing the rot in the Baptist Church. Somehow I doubt he has the guts or the humility to do something about it.
