At last week’s Town Council meeting, I had the opportunity and privilege to speak in support of Zamosc, a city in Poland that is being considered as our fourth Sister City.
There are 46 Sister Cities in the State of Arizona that have similar relationships with countries all over the world, and Poland has over 140,000 people with Polish heritage living in our state.

Many of these residents are visiting our stores, dining in our restaurants and looking at possible real estate locations due to our considering Zamosc as a Sister City.
As a 20-year resident of our community, I want to applaud former Mayors Miles, Nichols, Morgan and Schlum and all of the former and present councilmembers as well as Mayor Kavanagh for their support of this valuable program...you have made a difference.
