The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has issued a High Pollution Advisory for particulate pollution Wednesday, Dec. 24, which will likely extend into Christmas Day on Thursday.

The particulate pollution advisory also triggers Maricopa County’s “no burn” requirements for wood burning, so not wood fires to celebrate the holiday.
