Neither rain, nor snow, nor dark of night, etc., etc., can keep the Pony Express from its appointed rounds.
The Navajo County Sheriff’s Posse Hashknife Pony Express will arrive in Fountain Hills for their annual visit on Thursday, Jan. 28.
Riders will make their way up the Avenue of the Fountains to the U.S. Post Office before heading to Scottsdale to kick off the Parada del Sol.
This is the 58th ride by the Hashknife Pony Express, carrying mail from Holbrook to Scottsdale.
Ponies are expected to arrive at the Fountain Hills Post Office to deliver mail at about 3 p.m. on Thursday.
