Pool committee meets Tuesday

A committee exploring a community aquatic/recreational center will outline objectives at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, in the school district’s Learning Center, corner of Palisades and Golden Eagle boulevards.

Among the speakers will be former Mayor Jerry Miles; Craig Wilson, a former Olympic water polo competitor, and Sue Mackie, a town resident and executive director of U.S. Swim School Association.
