To do the work SRP will be taking some power off line beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until about 11 p.m.
As a as precaution and in the event the battery backup fails the town has required SRP to have off duty officers at the Eagle Mountain and Shea traffic signal to direct traffic.

Power outage scheduled for tonight

Salt River Project has a maintenance project schedule in Fountain Hills tonight that replace electrical equipment at Eagle Mountain Parkway and Summer Hill Boulevard.
To do the work SRP will be taking some power off line beginning at 6 p.m. and lasting until about 11 p.m.
As a as precaution and in the event the battery backup fails the town has required SRP to have off duty officers at the Eagle Mountain and Shea traffic signal to direct traffic.
This scheduled preventive maintenance outage will not affect any SRP residential customers.
It was scheduled in coordination with the town and the Eagle Mountain Golf Club. The maintenance work involves replacing two switches that affect the golf course sprinklers, pumps, etc.
