Hi there, I love you! Now it’s your turn. Repeat after me, “I love you, I love you President Donald Trump.” Now that was easy.

You don’t have to like him, just love him, per Mathew 5:43-48. You’re doing fine, now pray for him. Pray for the country in his care.

Really, you ask? Sure. An adulterer, murderer, thief (stole a wife, etc.) was made a great leader of Israel. Wow! Am I comparing President Trump to King David? You don’t think so? Dreamer. Are you limiting the power of God? Remember God can do anything He wills. Throughout history, He has chosen many men and women of various backgrounds to lead nations back.

And just maybe the women in his life are having a profound effect. It has happened to many of us.

So now is the time to reflect a moment. Before calling out derogatory names, say a quiet prayer for the President; pray he will, with the grace of God, lead us prudently and wisely. And it would be just fine for you to say a short prayer that he loses his Tweeting phone.
